Born in Anaconda, MT to her parents Daniel Thomas Murphy and Bernadine Dillon Murphy. She weighed 5 lbs., 13 oz. at birth and was 19 inches in length. |

While at CGF, Eileen developed a close circle of friends that included Sheila, Theresa, Mary, and Mary Van as well as Mary Van's husband Roger. |

Started meeting on a monthly basis with her group of Scrabble friends: Kim, Rachel, Shelle and Lindy. A gourmet meal, lots of talk about books, movies and travel, and lots of playing Scrabble. |

Met her future life-partner, Debbie Crumb, at a shyness workshop sponsored by ALPS. For Debbie, the meeting was "love at first sight". After the workshop, we went with a group to go dancing at QBs in Pioneer Square. While there, Eileen ran into Scrabble friends Kim and Rachel and introduced Debbie to them. With Debbie out of hearing range, Kim told Eileen that "she's the one." YES! Thanks, Kim! |

Moved to the Heatherwood Apartments in Federal Way to live with Debbie. |

Debbie and Eileen had a house built in Federal Way where they hosted lots of family gatherings. |

Diagnosed with breast cancer. |

Hit a LUCKY "hole in one" on the 8th hole (105 yards) on the Par 3 on 93 Golf Course in Whitefish, MT while playing golf with her nephews and Debbie. |

 |
Moved to West Seattle where she and Debbie bought a house where they again hosted many a family gathering. |
|

| January 17, 1997 |
|
|
|
 |
On their 10th anniversary together, Debbie and Eileen registered as domestic partners with the City of Seattle. |
|

| August 1997 |
|
|
|
 |
Mary Van and Roger gave Debbie and Eileen a National Parks passport book. While Debbie and Eileen had already visited several nationals parks and monuments, now they could begin to document their travels by collecting stamps in their passport book. |

| July 12, 1998 |

 |
Debbie and Eileen officially joined Findlay Street Christian Church after attending for several months. The recessional song was We Are Called by David Haas from the "blue" book. |

| July, 2003 |

 |
Eileen and Debbie joined with the rest of the Murphy Family to rent a private bus and driver for a 12-day tour of Ireland. It was fabulous! |

| January 17, 2005 |

 |
Celebrated the 18th anniversary of her life with Debbie or as both would repeatedly chime in together to say: "18 WONDERFUL years!". |

| August 31, 2005 |

 |
Collapsed from cardiac arrest in Klamath Falls, OR. She and Debbie were vacationing in the area and collecting stamps for their National Parks passport book. |
|

| September 7, 2005 |
|
|
|
 |
Died in the CCU/ICU at the Merle West Medical Center in Klamath Falls, OR as a result of the cardiac arrest that occurred the prior week. Debbie, Eileen's siblings, her sister-in-law Jeananne and Debbie's Mom were at Eileen's bedside when she died. May she now be free and at peace. |

A memorial service and party will be held at 2:00 PM at the Alki Congregational United Church of Christ (6115 SW Hinds, Seattle) on Saturday, September 24th.
